It's basically the concept of a bag of holding in dnd. It's expensive for the basic version, but ridiculously useful. The storage magic is just the bag of holding without the bag, just with a increasable size from how much effort is put into increasing the capacity.Must say, the whole staff concept is pretty cool but what the hell is the deal with this 'storage magic' and why are they making such a big deal out of it?
Just try to think about this, if i understand it correctly, you can store spells/maguc before hand and use it at no additional cost. So if it can store 1000 points of magic, someone with 100 points after charging it fully will have a total mp pool of 1100... would say thats pretty bustedMust say, the whole staff concept is pretty cool but what the hell is the deal with this 'storage magic' and why are they making such a big deal out of it?
I understand the core idea of it. Like yes its powerful but its being treated like its a... Whats the right word. It kinda feels like its being treated like its a hero skill, like only very important people know it. It seems contrived to me.It's basically the concept of a bag of holding in dnd. It's actually a great one, especially at war, since when you don't go adventure or fight you can store your unused magic into the want and it accumulated, and then when fighting you can use mana from the staff first to continue using magic, there also ( if there's one in here ) magic that need to accumulated mana to use, or have high mana usage exceeded the person mana capacity but high in power or range, with that you can use the stored mana.Must say, the whole staff concept is pretty cool but what the hell is the deal with this 'storage magic' and why are they making such a big deal out of it?
Now that's an idea I'd like to see. I was a Magical Girl, but then I got hit by Truck-kun and now I'm in a fantasy land?!I know it makes the necessary narrative sense, but it's such a shame that it's Llyod with the staff...

Missed opportunity for fantasy setting mahou shoujo if you ask me.
Not so much that as being able to get access to a magical girl life only in such a world, rather than our own.Now that's an idea I'd like to see. I was a Magical Girl, but then I got hit by Truck-kun and now I'm in a fantasy land?!
Practically the girl in the photo (Nanoha) world is already a multiverse and they have a spaceship that can go between dimension. So the device will work just fine. Not so much that as being able to get access to a magical girl life only in such a world, rather than our own.
