This story has just completely lost focus. This manga started with a sense of direction and progression, but now it just feels like they're dragging out fights and refusing to unveil any previously established mysteries just to drag out the story. I think imma drop it here, maybe check in in a year or so to see if anything's changed.

It's really suffered since the introduction of the hero's, instead if actually continuing with our mcs backstory.
I personally wanted to see more of merlin and his past.
Another thing that jars me is the fucking title of the manga hasn't been relevant since like chapter 4 unless he's gunna be banished yet again.

The main quest is, currently, to escort the princess to her home. They're taking a break in a powerful country's capital, but it looks like it isn't working out. The demons seem to have made a plan to get to the princess by pulling her protectors in different directions. I guess once the current fight is fought out, they'll need to start moving.
