Honestly, I never liked Alice. I've read comments that she'll become one of the best and most beloved characters in the future... but a betrayal is a betrayal. No matter if her reasons are good or not, or how many good things she does for the MC after this point, what she did can't be erased.
It's like that supposedly ancient Indian anecdote: a father gives his son a plank of wood and tells him that for every bad deed the son commits, he must hammer a nail into the plank. When the plank is full, he tells him that for every good deed he performs, he can remove one nail. When he removes them all, he teaches him that, even though he did as many good deeds as bad ones, the consequences of his bad deeds, as well as the marks left by the nails, will never disappear.
What fucking right does she have to "test" the MC!?!?!? If she wants him to do something for Kuromueina, then she should speak clearly and let the MC decide for himself. Right now she's just forcing her fucking selfishness on others and that's despicable.
