I think I know what the voice is or at least what is needed to hear the voice.
Info we know:
1. he started hearing voice more once he increased his brain power
2. The strongest person(so far, excluding mc) can probably also hear it

My theory: the voice is something in the dungeon. The thing needed is for your brain to go past a certain threshold in effectiveness and the further you go the more sensitive you are to the voice. Those who aren't sensitive enough won't be able to hear it. Ways you can gain the ability(in my opinion) are probably either being a genius who was naturally born with a brain already using a majority of the brain power or whatever, a person who trained to the peak of human limits thus gaining the sensitivity needed to hear it(the leader of the team) or just be like the mc and use magic or some artificial way to enhance your brain to the threshold.

Both are from him and caused by two different things. One, while he grew up rather normally he did endure some ribbing of his being a support magic only. However, most of his self-degrading insanity was solely caused by Chronos. The other is the taboo casting of his puppet magic he does on his own brain/body that is eating away at his brain/body.

I'm pretty surte the "voice" is the will of whatever causes the Dungeon.

It's already been suspected that the whole dungeon barrier has been crafted by a custom series of enchantments, and Wimm is so adept to enchantments that he's right now managed to use his overdrived mind to craft a custom enchantment to save the demihuman's life.

I bet the mind behind the Dungeon is welcoming Wimm because he's one of the people that resonate with it and able to fully dive inside.

Nothing like drugs or mental illness like people are saying. The voice is real and belongs to an entity.
