A guy that's self-loathing because he's been abused by his first benevolent party gets fired, when he is actually very strong, is one of the most common isekai garbage trope you can find.
I'm not talking about the fact that this one is perhaps the best amongst it's kind. If your max rating is 5/10, being the best is still trash.

Nah mangadex ratings are just fucked up. Most of the time people don’t realize “5” is “average” and just put 7 or 8. Most of the time to get an accurate rating, if it looks like an isekai or a “exiled from my party but I’m OP” series lower the series rating in your head by 1 or 2
