A guy that's self-loathing because he's been abused by his first benevolent party gets fired, when he is actually very strong, is one of the most common isekai garbage trope you can find.
I'm not talking about the fact that this one is perhaps the best amongst it's kind. If your max rating is 5/10, being the best is still trash.

Nah mangadex ratings are just fucked up. Most of the time people don’t realize “5” is “average” and just put 7 or 8. Most of the time to get an accurate rating, if it looks like an isekai or a “exiled from my party but I’m OP” series lower the series rating in your head by 1 or 2

This manga deserves so much better than it gets, from the attrocious, subhuman MTL between chapters 5 and like 12, to the lazy bums dropping the german words in the translation. Everyone, past the people working on the first few chapters, should be executed, and i'm not talking minecraft.

This series started out as your typical isekai slop with mediocre art and shit translation, but surprisingly the art goes quite hard in fight scenes, the tl holds up (depending on the group), and it's not even isekai.

Not to say this is a masterpiece, but it did exceed my expectations.

You know the setting and premise is all tropey and dopey, but somehow this does not devolve into senseless revenge porn.

I mean even the people that have wronged the MC are not brainless evildoers and are somewhat competent. They are well written assholes.

This manga seems to fundamentally be about the lasting consequences of abuse, and it is weird that this is depicted through a dungeon diving adventurer setting but surprisingly it is done quite well. On the other hand, what do I know, we're only 30 chapters in. But I'm keeping an eye on this.

Mangadex is far behind compared to other sites. This manga is getting turned into an anime in 2 years. It starts off being normal isekai but when you start reading the chapters in 40's it pops off. Almost all the side characters start having depths to their personality. We also get to see side plots come together and become tied to the main plot. Even the "villains" become interesting
