If Lindschel lost a queen, but Sardens lost its independence by becoming a protectorate of some empire, it's easy to see which one lost more. Not that it would make the royal family of Lindschel feel much better about the incident because Sardens's independence is irrelevant for them, but Sardens being under the "care" of an empire makes revenge impossible.
