So what was he supposed to do? Charge headstrong into the bandits to not buy slaves and release their lust?
That eould be futile since that would just aggrivate the bandit s into destroying the core since they only need the cave as a hangout the stuff they get from the core is bonus. Do you think the corpse are from bad guys? Those corpse the bandits bring are probably adventurers trying to subjugate them or merchants on the road. He needs those dungeon points to better protect himself and saving others without the ability doesnt change anything.
This is being a realist. Well he is lazy but hr does think and circumstances are stacked against him.

Yeah... Keima was just waiting for a chance to kill them. Without DP, and with the dungeon core in plain sight, all he could do was wait for the inevitable bandit subjugation to arrive, which he helped with by intentionally teaching them a strategy that would leave them with no way to escape.

@Vasqueztion I'm not sure I buy any of column B. There's not a line about stopping the bandits besides "There is no point". So I'm not sure what he could or couldn't have done because he just didn't care so it wasn't mentioned. Plus the rape and child abuse is just treated as background noise to gags of him liking loli legs and being lazy. I think its just in poor taste and immature.

The reason why the mc left a poor taste in people's mouths was not because did not just act. It's because he treated them as subhuman beings saying that they are just slaves as an excuse. It's how he behaved while watching them and cracking jokes about it. Japan's isekai genre seriously has a fucked up trope with the amount of sex slaves in each to the point that all the comfort women deniers in Japan really are disillusioned.

Eh, the protagonist is pretty apathetic for the most part, though he has a small concern for small girls, and has made a fetish of it. I wouldn't take this manga too seriously so far, as its downplaying nature is part of its satirical attempt at isekai tropes. Bit of a stretch to say, but it seems the next wave of isekai is going to be the reaction wave that up and mocks the previous wave through some level of self-awareness. But yeah. There's nothing necessarily profound about this manga, and I wouldn't say all the jokes are in great taste, dark humor or not, but it's still something I'll read just because it's interesting enough. That, and I'm kinda hardened to dark themes, so I like to try picking at them from different angles. (Yeah, there's some edge there all right.)

@lenovoaxioo - Is odd, lately and often these adaption have watered down content in the manga iteration, like the Spot and Isekai Maou one just as example, maybe they want a wider marketable audience? Or it have to do with the more strictly censorship that arise in these last years to avoid to offend someone (expecially western parties)?
I don't know but i don't like much this trend, adaptions should be faithful and close to the source material or is not the same experience and in the end trying to please too much people will just end up make everyone unhappy. Imo.

this is personal opinion,
Rape scene is always rage inducing but forced morality correct is just plain naive.
Personally I hate MC that always doing morality check on everything before doing something.
like "I don't kill because I am japanese" while not killing the said party would just make thing worse.
or " I don't sex because I am not legal enough"... .
