Those who said in the first chapter that this feels like an early 2000s manga weren't exactly wrong, but in a way it's kinda nice to see the same old tropes played straight for once. I feel like there's a charm to that, too!

Honestly, at this point I kind of like romance manga that play out the tropes without any twists cause I honestly can't fault something that does the basic stuff well, case in point Hajimete no Ojou-sama. Tropey af but still good stuff

I know this is a bit late, but I’m willing to bet we already saw her in chapter one, the blonde girl with the twintails who first told him about her. I’m almost certain I’ll see her in that role before I catch up to the most recently released chapter here.
