Moose is the best among deer. Jolly good.Venison are actually good. If you haven't tasted it before, go to nearby local meat market and hope they have venison. Otherwise, try order for one online. Try one in 'sliced' version (think of as a steak or pork chop) or in hamburger-style.
Since he is more immune to being "possessed", maybe creating a totem for a spirit to inhabit that can be called on?Awww, that was a cute (actual) last page, Mogami-sama is happy that Goro likes his fox.
Also, I know this panel is very vague and you'll probably be going 'wtf does that mean?'. Well I'm not sure either, that's exactly what it said in the raws. I suspect this is foreshadowing for Akane figuring out how to make a totem with just some of the fox possessor effect.

Breakfast burritos made with antelope (pronghorn) sausage is the best way to start your morning.Moose is the best among deer. Jolly good.
There is definitely hunting, but not near the big cities. Most normal Japanese people are a little weirded out by meat that isn't raised on a farm or caught from the ocean, I think. Though you can absolutely find it, even in Tokyo, if you go to a specialty meat shot. Of course all that meat was hunted elsewhere.Where I live, eating venison is common, usually as ground meat, sausage, or stew meat because of the gamey taste. Most venison is acquired either by hunting, as there is a hunting season for deer, or directly from the hunters. So, seeing Goro being shocked at receiving deer meat was a bit of a surprise, and I guess I never thought about what a Japanese person would think about eating it.
