You're misunderstanding me, and probably just disagree too, but it's not about a test of commitment or some punishment to her career. I'm saying it would be nice for them both to actually want that outcome and decide on it together. It would also tie well into their arc of separation and uncertainty as a statement for that period being past them, now going on to focus on the relationship and mutual growth.She doesn't need to sacrifice her work to show her commitment. She's already done more than enough to show her commitment (as has he). If she decides on her own that kissing is a bit awkward for her (at her age) then fine. However, I don't at all agree with the idea that her saying "yes" or "no" to kissing as part of her acting job is somehow a test of her commitment to their relationship.
Not sure why you're so adamantly against this? Since you didn't engage with a single point besides the last one about her giving up some work so I think I can guess, but whatever
