Woah, I didn't expect an entire chapter of him struggling in the forest.

A weird animal capable of advanced camouflage appeared, so he backed up into an ant hill in order to protect his back. He managed to kill the camouflaged animal, but he had ants all over him (which for some reason I had expected to be bigger) so to shake them off he dove into the river. That shook them off, but also removed his layer of grime which he was using for stealth and then a pack of wolf found him.

I guess this is what stands for a "nice chill" interlude before he gets back to the city with its dangerous human power struggles. Let's hope that equipment is worth it.

I owned a restaurant in New York during the pandemic. Those last few pages are so relatable.
