That's what I thought. Seemed obviousguessing he struck the monster, monster struck the dad, then leon passes out from the impact
ThisJelly on her way to become the embodiment of the goddess upon the mortal realm, with the sheer depth of compassion and resolve she possesses.
Leon getting his absolution will be wonderful and cathartic. I would bet everything that he did not stab his father, and that he struck the boar that deal his dad that fatal blow.
I only hope he does not suffer too greatly before he can find that peace, and more importantly, that he will learn to forgive himself.
Best guess I have is to show he's an unreliable narrator to foreshadow the obvious "he didn't kill dad" which we all expect anyways. So why did they like 2 chapters ago portray his dad as abusive if this is the route they're going.
Use your brain for once, it’s a traumatic event. He obviously isn’t a reliable narrator here. Does the author need to handhold you guys through everythingSo why did they like 2 chapters ago portray his dad as abusive if this is the route they're going.
It was the previous chapter, and honestly all they did was flash a couple disjointed memories of him screaming along with Leon not even being certain on why the things were playing out the way they were. Physically, Leon looked perfectly fine. Dad was intimidating, but not necessarily abusive. So why did they like 2 chapters ago portray his dad as abusive if this is the route they're going.
Reading comprehension and retention has been fairly low in these comment sections. Like the last one there were people going on about how Ange is going to find out she was beat to the thing with the grapes by Jelly when the way things had actually played out was that Jelly specifically recruited her for this in the first place because she's the one that knows crops.Use your brain for once, it’s a traumatic event. It's what everyone thought. It might be a nice subversion of the trope if he actually did kill his father. That's what I thought. Seemed obvious
Is there a need to be rude about it?Use your brain for once, it’s a traumatic event. He obviously isn’t a reliable narrator here. Does the author need to handhold you guys through everything
Even Jelly did not believe it.– Due my weakness, I held a high regard for strong and gentle father.
– Weakness? Uhh....
It's probably that, but suppose it's not...guessing he struck the monster, monster struck the dad, then leon passes out from the impact
