Found out this morning that my coworker that was off work fighting cancer passed away on the weekend. One of the nicest guys I've ever met..... he didn't deserve that.

It sucks when stuff like that happens cause you never expect it to happen to ppl you know

Makes it even worse when he was turning his life around to live healthier. Qutting drinking, eating better and getting exercise.

I found out from his wife that he refused to give up and tried to keep living his life until his body gave up on him.

CPU AIO cooler shit the bed and is dead. Found out there has been a recall on mine for a while, but Lian Li has made it annoying to try and file a RMA on it.

Why the fuck would I still have a receipt from nearly 5 years ago? I have the original box, I have the serial number, give me my fucking replacement without trying to make me talk to your stupid fucking ai chat bot.

Now I need to go out into the bullshit tomorrow to try and get a new cooler, but I'm still making these assholes replace mine.

Thats actualy quite interesting? how did it happened? I have amd, Octa core ryzen. I think it's at least... 3 to 5 years old? still works good as new. I just clean the dust twice a year.

It's a known issue with the galahad 240 and 360 coolers with a serial number 2022 and lower. Something about a double solder on the radiator that causes massive heat spikes (probably coolant evaporation).
