Seriously, how little does someone have to think of another to expect them to accept all the heinous shit that Miyuki did to Eiji, her loving and devoted boyfriend that she supposedly loves so very much? MC's mom when she gets all of what happened she actually lawyered up and sues them both, that's how Miyuki's mom also learns what happens, and we also learn that Miyuki's dad cheated on her mom, so it hurts double for her as to why would her daughter knowing what cheating does would do something like that, then Miyuki's mom works herself death to end on the hospital where she pretty much disowns Miyuki ... I could get some thing a little wrong, but there's always nice people to explain it better.

Yes, Karma is a bitch and Tachibana will learn it the hard way. For example she thought she destroyed all Eiji's manuscript but Ai with the help of a litterature club member save some, which make Eiji motivate to write and upload a novel on the internet. This is a big hit and jealous Tachibana publish her own to retaliate but this is a big flop. She also used one girl to manipulate the soccer club members who got expelled to assault Eri but one of them didn't take the bait and threaten up Tachibana with violence later. Also she tried to erase all her exchange with Kondo using an app which delete all message from her phone and then Kondo's phone when he'll connect, but unfortunately for her and she didn't know it at the time, he broke his phone after throwing it with anger, leaving evidence of their guiltyness (the police retrieved the data). Of course, she thought she was smarter during her interrogation with the police only to show she was the biggest idiot in the room. Since she is 18 and with all the charge against her, she'll be judged as an adult and not a student.

I think 18 is still considered as a minor in Japan, but since her actions are despicable, she'll be tried as an adult. She even think of getting into a mental institution to escape, but to no avail since there's no chance of getting out without proper evaluation, and it would take years. Her apology letter is also calculated, thus the judge considered it insincere and is not having it
