So all these 2 years, we spent that time with the B couple, than the main couple… that’s not a great way to end the manga..Yeah I can see it's ending soon probably this volume or next one
There are christians in Japan and real, actual christian priests. How does Japanese clergy work and how different is it from the western one? Is it like professional Chirstianity cosplay?
There's also that one line in Hime and Yano's backstory where Hime says, "When a girl stops acting cute, people stop liking her."Speaking of which, Hime mentioned something interesting. She came up with her dream of marrying into money in middle school after her fallout with Yano. Makes me wonder if there is a deeper connection there.
Seriously doubt it.Yeah I can see it's ending soon probably this volume or next one
Keep in mind, Miman also took a 2 year hiatus...It feels like it's been years since we've had an actual moment out of the Liebe setting between Hime and YanoSince quite a few volumes at least, so in reality, it probably HAS been a couple years.
Just not many... like... about 1% of the population... if that....There are christians in Japan and real, actual christian priests.
Yeah I have a feeling the author ran out of dramas to forceYeah I can see it's ending soon probably this volume or next one
Yeah, I dont get ppl thinking this is a sign of the manga ending. If anything, this is where chapter 1 left off. It really is that simple, to marry into money you have to be in places they'd hang out at the very least, so you'd need some money yourself or at least work where they'd be. That is an extremely long term goal when you're a mere high schooler.I suspected that this is the direction the new Hime/Yano arc would go. Now that Hime has accepted Yano’s feelings, and is choosing to work at Liebe of her own free will, I thought it would be about time to address that elephant in the room.
For the longest time, I wanted to get inside Hime’s head on this “dream“ of hers. I don’t think she‘s ever really thought it through, and this chapter proved it. She hasn’t even figured out the first step of where she’ll supposedly find these marriage candidates, much less how she‘ll build an actual relationship with them with such a shallow facade.
I‘d also like to ask her if there are other qualifiers for her marriage candidates besides just being rich. What about age, gender, or personality? What about getting physical? What if her future spouse wants or has kids? What is Hime willing to accept, and what will she offer/sacrifice?
As for Yano, it seems like this is an opportunity to explain her family and financial situation. Especially because I know we were all thinking when we saw her house in the flashback, “why not marry this girl?! She comes from money and she’s already into you! Win-win!”

It's all connected, to her "dream" and to her rejection of Mitsuki, I know it
Even though she's framed as the main character, Hime is probably one of the characters we understand the least at the moment. But the threads have been quietly piling up in the background this entire time.
I love it, Miman-sensei has been cooking.
THIS.There's something kind of intriguing in just how little we know about the central character to this story.
All the others orbit around Hime in some fashion, either directly or through someone else (including Gotou, even).
But Hime remains a relative black box, and not even because of the segue into Kanoko & Sumika's story - she's just...shallow, but like conceptually. We know she's fake to everyone, and that she wants to marry rich, and that she doesn't want to fall in love. There's such a dearth of nuance to her compared to everyone else, that it feels incredibly intentional and like it's all been set up, including the Kanoko & Sumika arc, to suddenly blow up a bunch of threads dropped along the way, or something, and Hime's entire characterization will snap into focus.
I truly hope it's nowhere near done, because this feels like we're shifting into third gear, right now.
I know the author took a year to focus on her health (which, duh - absolutely the correct move, even great yuri manga isn't worth the creator's wellbeing in my mind) - but calling this "ending" just doesn't feel correct, what with how much of the story I suspect is left to tell.THIS.
This is why I told <whomever it was> that I seriously doubt it's going to be ending soon...
In my ideal world, we should have about 7 or 8 volumes ahead of us to satisfactorily wrap up all the storylines. We'll see. It does seems like a lot, but I never would have imagined that the Kanoko and Sumika Arc would last that long neither.I truly hope it's nowhere near done, because this feels like we're shifting into third gear, right now.
7-8 more volumes isn't a lot, honestly.Beautiful chapter. What a wonderful feeling it is to have Hime and Yano back as the central characters after so long (literally almost 6 years). I have to admit I had a couple of mini heart attacks reading so many people interpreting the beginning of this Arc as a sign that the end is relatively near, because I don't think if I'm ready yet to say goodbye to this manga that I love so much.
That being said, I have 100% trust in Miman, especially since I know for a fact that she's the one who cares the most about the quality of her work (something that should be obvious to anyone who pays attention to the details of its storytelling since the very first chapter).

The only thing I pray is that the publisher lets her finish the manga her way, taking all the time she needs. Those who enjoy this manga, please support it by buying the digital versions of the Japanese volumes. They're quite cheap.
P.S.: New chapter confirmed for this month!

I binged all 72 chapters in about 30 hours or so, and I was surprised getting to the author notes and realizing I'd read three volumes' worth when it felt like barely one, and that happened several times.
