Chapter 14 is the last chapter that was serialized in Comic Valkyrie.

Chapter 15 came out early on KimiKomi a few days ago, however I'm not sure as to when the raw will be available for me to translate. The raws for Chapter 15 will probably be uploaded once it has passed into the free tier sometime in January.

If you want to support the series go to the KimiKomi page and give it a follow or buy the latest chapter > https://kimicomi.com/series/b65586cd40f98

Anyway, Happy Holidays.

Personality excretion? They want to bimbofy her?

Like from this chapter specifically? Yes, indeed.

But as far as the manga as a whole goes, Aoi-kun is a good kid.

Lemon is truly sheltered if she thought after 500 guys watched her get magically sentenced to do whatever she was told for 3 days that she would get to walk away without any harm.

Kinda checks out, she doesn't seem to think about the sexual implications of the punishments only the humiliation aspect. It's weird that she's that dense but she'd honestly have to be to play the role of prosecutor

I’ve always wondered about that, if she can magically tell what is a lie and what isn’t, then why can’t she use that as a mark against the one on the stand? Is it because they aren’t under an oath or what? Last time she made the statement “If you lie before me three times you will forfeit your life”, and the dying part was a lie, but the detection isn’t. Can she not say “judge we cannot proceed until they say a statement that is true at least to their understanding”, to cover for people who are lying from ignorance not omission?

Personality excretion punishment? Pretty sure i saw a manga about that exact thing on the nH site a couple weeks ago. And I'd bet it's exactly the same thing :worry:

Pretty compelling that I want Lemon to "face what she's forced others to face", but at the same time I want her absolved because I think they need to destroy the entire system, and she would prove invaluable to that.

Which, that's the problem with growing up in a punitive justice system - you start wanting people who commit heinous acts to suffer for them in some sort of "eye for an eye" type vengeance under the guise of "justice", but it's the system itself that is the issue; and whatever the defendant did, even in Lemon's case, she'd just become another victim in the long list.

This title is obviously just a vehicle for fetish work, but the actual drama of corrupt systems and cycles of abuse and trauma is more compellingly written than I'd have expected back in chapter 2.

But I do know that, "vindictive" or not, I want the Peanut Gallery to all be Ivan the Terrible'd.

I can make plenty of arguments why even Lemon should be found Not Guilty to avoid punishment here, but all of them are a lost cause and I would feel personally slighted if the series ended without them all put on a pike using the tag 'all the way through'.

Am I wrong to assume that the only two people to not suffer some form of humiliating attack, in that courtroom (apart from the peanut gallery) is Yuuri and the Judge?

Lol that's not what personality excretion is. It's far worse. As is the usual, it's another classic hentai bad end trope/fetish. The victim excretes (usually, quite literally, through the orifices) their entire consciousness (so not just 'personality') in the form of some physical object....often jelly or something that can be molded into another object. Often an adult toy. The object is inanimate but fully conscious and usually able to feel. You can guess what happens next. You'd also probably rather be dead. Also, the original body usually ends up in a severely lobotomized or zombie state.

Being the defense attorney works against her in that respect. She may have the ability to tell if someone is lying but she can't prove she's using it honestly to the court. She has a conflict of interest to help her clients win. It might be a different matter if she was a neutral officer of the court who takes an oath to use her power truthfully.

But it's unlikely she would be employed that way even if she reveals the exact nature of her power. There are clearly already few defense attorneys like her, and the court itself is also obviously set up so guilt is already presumed in all cases.

It kinda has ties back to even Japanese myth. There's legend of a shirikodama (small butt ball) which is a mythical ball-shaped organ inside your butt that contains your soul. Kappas, river oni, are believed to prey on humans and steal their shirikodama, leaving them like a vegetable.

well we haven't been told one way or the other, is all we can say with certainty at this point.

I don't think it's unreasonable to presume so, in the case of the judge, but I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to Yuuri in her past that's lead her to her current conviction of defending other MGs from the Court System. (I know we've gotten something about a sister of hers which might tie-in, but I guess we'll have to wait for more backstory lore drops.)
