Genuinely great and interesting manga but the ending is utter cheeks. 9/10 up until the last few 6/10 chapters

fun, to read. Not a masterpiece artwork but a near perfect silly manga to read without tiring your head

I recommend it for people who are exhausted from worklife like I do and wants a break from all the drama of life

Also wolf is kinda cute so that's a W from me

so after all that he doesnt end up with the human girl...what a shit ending

Hitomi's mid, like there is no gimmick to her personality, just a flawless boring and generic waifu material, not even a real character

Below mediocre compared to other characters

Wtf i didn't realize I haven't read it in 3 years because I forgot or didn't see it in my updates. I came back to shit. Honestly was rooting for human girl because the dog felt annoying. I came back, took a peek and at the ending and just went, "wtf? Not just plot but you call this an ending?" Then i went to the comments, to see if it was worth catching up. Nope, it is still wtf.

What kinda NTR, Yurifuta, beastiality, bait is this?

I should have fucking known. I've never learnt my lesson. Every time there's a manga that sets off with the mc having a cute girl he likes, it always ends up like some harem shit or MC having character development also because it was initially meant for the girl her likes. Then it's always the annoying, second girl (or first girl of the "plot"), that ends up with MC, either in a vague way or in a way the first girl gives him up.

In my dream i saw how ranka and her sister died. It was a post-apocalyptic environment with snow encapsulating everything. These 2 wolves died from starvation outside of a market-turned-research base. Think of like world of 9 ( film ) or 86 ( literature ) but with snow.

So basically this school is an afterlife place. Yes, this [headcanon] was revealed to me in a dream.

This is fun to read from the start to mid, but the ending is less satisfying for me

So uh, where's chapter 2 to 24?

After looking through Chapter 1's English Discussion, I think I figured out what happened.

Basically, the original scanlator, Rapeman, made some rascist/offensive credit pages. Note, I've never seen them and I'm going off what other people were saying. Mangadex put their foot down and starting removing the offensive credit pages from scans. Rapeman throw a fit and took down all his scans which were chapters 1 to 24. Another scanlator named Bottersnike decided to re-upload chapter 1 as a test to see if anyone was still interested in the manga.

The discussion page for the chapter quickly turned into a flame war in which a bunch (for lack of a better word) chuds came out of the woodwork. They attacked the admins for banning Rapeman (they didn't) and removing his chapters (again, they didn't). Even after Bottersnike pointed out that Rapeman removed the chapter himself, people were still blaming the admins. There was barely any discussion of the manga itself.

The real kicker in all this is that Rapeman commented in the discussion of Chapter 1 accusing Bottersnike of ripping off his scans. This inadvertently showed that Rapeman was never banned, but his "fans" kept acting like he was. So, my guess is that Bottersnike didn't want to deal with these people for another 20+ chapters and chose not to continue their translation.

TL;DR: The original scanlator was a racist and pulled his scans after Mangadex revised their policies on offensive credit pages. A new person tried to re-translate the missing chapters, but likely lost interest because of the racist commenters flooding the discussion page.

Thanks for the late reply I guess 😅
I have torrented the series since then lol.

Anyway, that's about what you can expect from someone named Rapeman
