More like furutsuBAKA, amirite? Love Zanma-sensei being self-aware about the villain choice. I also want to call out that Glasses was so dumb he didn't even account for Goro having more than only Kogane for support. I like that Zanma-sensei is establishing a theme that evil is pathetic. Both Deep-Fried Stalker-Kun and Glasses are losers who turn to evil ways to avoid the consequences of their actions and choices. That doesn't mean good will always win, but that's why we have Akane. I really hope we keep seeing more of here, even if it is just more Maison Ikkoku stuff . Thanks as always to sarusa.

I suspect glasses guy is going to fold up like a... thing that folds (look, it's approaching my bedtime) once his pet yokai is gone. But I also think they're going to figure out how to turn him over to the human authorities, based on how they seem to draw a pretty clear line between the two spheres of influence.

Camellia, however, is going down hard. Eventually. (Which has the added benefit of allowing Akane to stretch her legs a bit. )

Exactly my point. Glasses presents himself as this superior guy who gets ahead through cunning, but he can't conceive of anything outside his own experiences. I know this is cliche to say, but he's like the Dunning–Kruger effect personified.

I spent over an hour looking up yokai info and few chapters ago(ch. 82), but I never thought of plant yokai being a thing. I was atleast right on the mark, when the Kitsunes spoke about the "woman" slathering on perfume. The only reason you would put too much of something on, is cover up a smell like your stink or in this case the smell of death. This was fun trying to figure out the yokai based on a limited description. Hooray for Akane/Kogane transformations.
