I like that Anna wants to thank everyone that helped her. But there better be more to her wish than that. She could have just thanked everyone in person later on. As it stands, it's a total waste of a wish. But perhaps Anna is so happy with her life, that she couldn't think of another wish. Since she's going the pure selfless route, at least wish for some kind of gift or reward for your friends. Ask for cake or cookies for everyone. Anything is better than just summoning them to say thanks.

I'm really curious what Anna/Kenzo is going to ask for. There are a lot of good options. The problem, is that asking about some of them will be highly suspicious. In particular, if she asks if there is magic that can separate a soul from a body. With such magic, Kenzo could use Grace's brother's magic to open a portal to Japan, then cast the magic to separate his soul from Anna's body, go through the portal. Then he would just need to move his soul to his unconscious body in the hospital. The problem of course, is that asking about magic to separate a soul from a body would sound suspicious and evil.

Kenzo could also ask if there is a way to write messages that can't be destroyed. Indestructible, permanent messages. Like a way to create a pen and paper that can't be destroyed. He could then have Grace's brother use his magic to open a portal to Earth, then give the pen and paper to his wife and daughter. Then they can write him messages without them crumbling to nothing, like the last note they gave him.

And lastly, Kenzo could ask how to make portal magic. Asking Grace's brother to use his magic comes with two problems. One being he isn't always around. And the other larger problem being that Kenzo can't allow anyone to see the portal to Earth, without opening a giant can of worms. It would be far better if Kenzo could make his own portals. But, this is also kind of pointless since, Kenzo could just ask Grace's brother to teach him how to make portals. The caveat to this, is I don't know if portal magic is element specific. In other words, does Kenzo/Grace possess the needed elemental magic to create portals?

And the other issue is that portal making is advanced cutting edge magic. Does Kenzo have enough experience and knowledge of magic to pull it off? Although, having passed this Star Exam, he's probably much closer, if not already at that point. He could also just go the honesty route and tell everyone that he's actually a middle aged man stuck in Grace's body. Most people would think him insane or joking. But Anna would probably believe him. Anna's a ride or die kind of girl.

That dragon looked awfully similar to the dragon at the bottom of the Academy's dungeon. The same dragon that tried to kill Kenzo, because it knew he didn't belong in their world. Not only did this dragon look similar, it too attacked Kenzo. Highly suspicious.

We already know that Kenzo has a good heart. But what about the real Grace? The two of them combined are what made Orion; both literally and figuratively. Hopefully the real Grace has been watching Kenzo this entire time, has self reflected, and mended her villainess ways. If she hasn't, that's going to be a real problem. Would the dragon be half good and half evil; maybe with two heads?

and how close we are to the end of the story (that is dad returning home and Grace returning to her normal self)?
I'm hoping that the dad doesn't return to Japan. It would be far more interesting if instead, his wife and daughter come to this fantasy world, with his unconscious body (that they'll have to steal from the hospital). They find a way to transfer Kenzo's soul back into his body and real Grace get's her body back. Then Kenzo, his wife, and daughter decide to live in this fantasy world. Kenzo continues being the world's best bureaucrat, but gets to do so working for the royal family. That would be such a cool ending, and much better, than the standard, everyone goes home ending. The advantage of this ending, is that no one has to lose their friend. Everyone has formed such close friendships with Kenzo. It would be sad if they never got to see each other again.

Mini-arcs like the dungeon or these trials just don't click as well as the day-to-day fluff to me. I suppose that's kinda the issue with a slice-of-life premise; there never was much tension or stakes to the whole thing (despite the rather serious implications the story didn't really treat any of it as too threatening) so this sorta "power level up" scenario just doesn't feel all that relevant; and the relationship between the heroines is by now fairly static anyway so not like a coop-mode challenge will do anything there either.
But there is tension and stake. Kenzo needs to find a way to transfer his soul back to his body on earth. We need to find out if the real Grace is still a villainess or has she reformed. I suspect that this will also be relevant to what kind of dragon Orion turns into. We know Kenzo has a good heart, but does the real Grace? The real Grace formed half of Orion.

Slice of life can be combined with other genres. But at it's heart, it's about the relationships. I care about the characters and enjoy watching their day to day lives. But I also enjoy these more dramatic mini-arcs. Regardless of whether they effect the larger plot, it's fun seeing the characters react to pressure and stress.

I am not gonna lie - this sounds like awesome ending indeed. And it would be quite the original one when it comes to villainess genre. Will the author actually do it or not remains to be seen...

That's the premise. But, a) when has it ever been portrayed as a serious issue? For the most part (even his family) seems to be more on a vibe of curiosity and that it's all a bit of an adventure more than anything else. And b) there's not really any direct implication that this would help much in returning home in any case. Unlike the previous chapters with the teleportation, that for sure mattered.

But just in general I'm not overly fond of any sort of "three trials" arc or similar. It always feels like you can poke 73 holes into them for reasons of why they are kinda nonsense (even with the convenient "this is a dating game so it would have those cliché elements" excuse, though admittedly it's a good excuse as it absolutely could have something of this type).
