Kinda feels like the game devs threw in random personal interests and called it a day, but nothing wrong with that.
You know that this tower was a series of mini-games that had people reloading their saves because they failed the quick time events.Kinda feels like the game devs threw in random personal interests and called it a day, but nothing wrong with that.
Less fishing minigames, more curling minigamesKinda feels like the game devs threw in random personal interests and called it a day, but nothing wrong with that.
I really appreciate you taking the time to also show the literal Japanese pun and how it doesn't quite work in English when transliterated. It really helps forward better understanding of Japanese.Thank you for reading Chapter 43 of Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan!
I’ll be taking a one- or two-week break, and the scanlation will continue as usual after that. Happy holidays!

don't you mean understone?
yeah I'm glad for that as well, it's not only fun for the liberties taken for it to make sense, but also to understand how the original was!
Yeah, I'm generally known around here as a hardcore originalist whenever it's possible to do so, and when it's not to keep the spirit of the wordplay in full intact as much as possible, so seeing not only that care was made to match the spirit but also the general contextdon't you mean understone?

By the way, after re-reading it I think that, possibly, rather than just "understand/understone", the pun could be a triple-wordplay using English as well, with the other aspect of it being a type of rock called "andesite" ("andasutan"). If so, it would be truly terrible! But then again, I could just be seeing it there because of the romaji.Heya!
Thanks for the shout-out! I always make the ‘Lost in Punslation’ corner whenever Richard makes any kind of pun. I secretly look forward to (yet dread) every pun he makes, and I’m glad to know that someone took the time to read that corner~
Right?Imagine losing your magical companion forever not because you're poor with magic, but because you suck at curling.
