So far, I'm really enjoying this exam. It's important to study, yes, but it's important to make allies and friends. It is odd that it seems only very few members can take the Star Exam. I know in game it's because it's for main-characters only, but I wonder if in-universe if there's another way to evolve ones spirits. There must be, or otherwise only 2 people every year can evolve their spirits which isn't much. I'm guessing that if you graduate and go on to really focus on magic studies one can then schedule a similar test at the equivalent of 'college'? Since this is highschool it's the equivalent of taking AP classes?

And I love Anna's response of "It's beautiful." Once again, it really highlights the difference between Grace/Kenzo's 'we're the main character' vs Anna's 'I'm the protagonist'.

Yeah, I'm generally known around here as a hardcore originalist whenever it's possible to do so, and when it's not to keep the spirit of the wordplay in full intact as much as possible, so seeing not only that care was made to match the spirit but also the general context

By the way, after re-reading it I think that, possibly, rather than just "understand/understone", the pun could be a triple-wordplay using English as well, with the other aspect of it being a type of rock called "andesite" ("andasutan"). If so, it would be truly terrible! But then again, I could just be seeing it there because of the romaji.
