Ruined his life? Lally did that himself. How are Soyo and Idol girl worse than the aliens that bullied Lally without reason and made him emigrate to Japan? I don't see Lilly kidnapping any of those :oooo:

Anyway, the kick scene was great. Great pacing. Really took me by surprise, I thought Kitami had fully bought into Lilly's bullshit. Glad to see bombs guy show up because Kitami seems mentally cooked.

Silver lining is that Kitami didn't accept "You two are the victims" and veered into "Everyone is a POS". Makes no sense he'd kill the idol, then have Lilly kill himself, but leave Lilly alive if that's how he sees it tho. He's basically giving Lilly a free pass.

That last panel is fucking beautiful. I really like this artist on some key panels.

It's not "worse", it's "just as bad" in that he's coming to the startling revelation that humans don't act that differently from aliens do. Lilly came to Earth, tried to be nice to a human girl, and had his life ruined because he was an easy target. It's really not that complicated.

Thank you Soyo for reminding the main conflict here to the 1.24 readers here that might've forgotten about it.

Snark aside, could the mang finally be going somewhere now? We got eyepatch guy, only Nomamoto and the simp are missing.

Seiran's character is pretty well done here, from his epiphany that his vengeance is no different than what Lily's did, to his refusal to follow this "mental Soyo", and then unable to commit brutality that Lily's order him to do.

The best choice for him to do is though is simply for him to beat up and restraint Lily, but he's not mentally in the right place right now. Having his vengeance meaningless and seeing everyone he met messed up seems took a toll on Kitakami's mentally that he doesn't have much reason to live.

Its also nice meta for Kitakami to say that everyone he met is asshole and messed up.

I'm not sure what the eyepatch guy going to bring to this drama. Is it possible that Lily's actually lied or hide some truth? I mean we don't really have to clarify what he said so far is the full truth.

If the victim commits a suicide over it, why not?
Because you can do the same thing to different people and get different outcomes. When you murder someone they are dead 100% of the time regardless of how they feel about it (unless you fuck it up). Lally easily could have chosen to live, the morality of an action cant depend entirely on things you didn't do personally. Otherwise we aren't judging people by their own actions and intentions but just whatever happens in their proximity.
