I think she's paraphrasing what she's heard from society, i.e. Lesbians aren't real, they're just women who haven't found the right guy. Hina's boyfriend almost said as much earlier in the chapter.

Was one of those, and went back to look at it, and looking at the way he was drawn I still feel like the artist was trying to portray them as being insincere. Or, well, many artists drawing characters that way have done that. =)

Turns out I was indeed wrong, but I stand by on why I thought what I did, hehe.
