To be fair, the forum account doesn't get created until you actually go to the forums, so it's possible to have an older account on the front-end but a new account on the forums.

Doesn't stop someone from being a tool, however.

In theory, yeah.
But at most, I would give that a couple of days, given the comment box is right there in the sidebar.
And even then, I think the first comments would be used on Manga opinions in the chapter, not directly joining a drama thread.

Hmm, not quite. Because of the size of the DMCA, staff had to go straight to deleting chapters without notifying anyone. It wasn't until a day or so later that they made any big announcement.

The circumstances are actually pretty similar.
