With the amount of insults she tends to give him, at least in chapter 2, I kinda wondered about that. She still seems to think kinda low of him a lot, but overall she seems to be more balanced with it now. I may be called sensitive, but I would personally struggle with going on dates with a deadpan girl who mainly insulted me. But this doesnt seem to be going that direction so it's good.

Yeah, it does feel a bit like that. Like it stems from her own lack of self-esteem. I like how both these characters are flawed in this somewhat unique way and how that plays out in their relationship.
