You can see the comments of the previous chapter to get an idea about that (regarding the Light Novel which is what the Manga should follow) but it is true that if we followed the Web Novel things would have already been very different since chapter....maybe 9? Because the current story added various elements, most of which I would find to be good even if minor, the whole exGF thing though...that added nothing at all.
