This will be unpopular but I frankly more invested in the prime minister as antagonist character, feels like dude is shaped like snape of harry potter.

Prince idiot? Homewrecker girl? Prince chad? Damsel in distress? Love conquers all? Those aspect will get stale fast without a good villainity and this chapter showed that there is more to see than prince fucked up and the king covering him.

Also nothing says sincere apology like summoning the victim and making a grand show of it instead of going to them so as not to inconvenience them.

They were summoned to fMCs home kingdom, they are to apologise to her in front of the king of the offended kingdom. This can pretty much be looked at as the offending kingdom publicly bowing down to the offended kingdom. Pretty sincere if you ask me.

Fully agree on the security and reaction to the stabbing though.
