Thanks for the chapter!
Just have a mutual goon sesh or something idk. I feel like if they already have the enjoyment of each other's company down, solving the physical needs can be explored rather than just leaving it up to rigid constructs like being straight or gay and treating it like some immutable fact that they can't CHOOSE to take charge of. But maybe I'm just too pan-pilled so what do I know.I get what you're saying, but as valuable and fulfilling friendships / platonic marriages can be, a person's sexual needs can't just be dismissed. Sexual attraction alone is not a good reason to start a relationship, but majority of people want to be both emotionally and physically intimate with their partners - ignoring your needs is guaranteed to turn love into resentment. It's not fair to condemn someone's brain chemistry whether they're asexual or not.
The manga Anata ga Shite Kurenakute mo is a great example how toxic relationships get if one partner has sexual needs that aren't being fulfilled: https://mangadex.org/title/78a664a7-2f4e-464b-b925-92984012f00c/anata-ga-shite-kurenakute-mo
they have it worse than the characters of skinsThat or about the first boy's ex-girlfriend and her trauma about almost being killed.
No. Let the characters be homosexual and a lesbian. They don't need to fit/they weren't created to fit in your 'pansexual view' or whatever it may be. It must be shocking for you to see that some homosexuals don't want to explore the opposite gender's bodies, just leave them be.Just have a mutual goon sesh or something idk. Shocking? No. Pitying is a better way to put it. Also, your phrasing comes from such a hilariously ignorant place I'm not convinced you even know what you're talking about. It's simple. You can't understand that Mahiro is a lesbian who exclusively likes women both romantically and sexually, while Asahi is most probably a homosexual man. Those two characters weren't made to fit in your pansexuality. Since you ''pity'' them and think It's absurd that a lesbian or a gay man doesn't want to have their pyshical needs solved with someone from the opposite gender. Would it be nice if there was a pansexual character? Yes, I wouldn't be against it, but those two characters clearly aren't pansexual, so there's no need for you to try to imagine them as otherwise, ''pushing'' your ''pan-pill'' onto them. It seems you cannot understand that there are characters who are exclusively and solely attracted to one gender. The one who should get the pity is you, not them.Shocking? I'm "sorry" you "think" like such a "close minded" "individual" that "someone" having "an" exploratory mindset in a "comments" section means I'm "pushing" a "pan agenda". "Sorry" for "triggering" you with "different viewpoints""I guess?"It's simple. Wait isn't lavender relationship mean they only date for covering their real sexuality? I thought the point of lavender relationship is they won't develop feelings for each other anyway. But yeah I agree I hope they won't end up dating even if it's only lavender relationship.I hope not, I feel like it will ruin a lot of the themes and tough conversations this arc brought if they develop feelings for each other.
I hope we'll be getting the asexual classmate or the other Kobayashi (I hope y'all remember he has twin brother), the one who wants plastic surgery. I think they deserve their own arci wonder what will be the 4th arc, will it' be the first friend story, another character introduction or the ending
Out of the two characters, Mahiro is explicitly gay, otherwise why would she be upset that she isn't attracted to men? She's had her entire adolescence to realize she has no interest in the opposite gender - sexuality may be a spectrum, but plenty of folks place far on the ends of that spectrum. People can't help who they're attracted to, and forcing yourself to be with someone you find unappealing is only going to cause heartbreak for both parties.I'm "sorry" you "think" like such a "close minded" "individual" that "someone" having "an" exploratory mindset in a "comments" section means I'm "pushing" a "pan agenda". Also, enlighten me (and maybe do some basic Google research), how are you able to so clearly define and discretize people as "homosexual" "lesbian" or "pansexual". I can't WAIT to hear your S tier observations like "Oh hes a homo because hes fine kissing guys and she's a lesbo because she's fine kissing girls"
Spoiler:
Its a trick question because a.) Homosexual and lesbian are the same fucking thing, and b.) Its a goddamn spectrum and your "simplifications" just put people in unecessary boxes. Wouldn't you know it, our main boy is EXPLORING those feelings right now
I don't get why yall love to bad faith paint people as "forcing themselves". Like yeah, I get the part that you can't help what you're attracted to, but at the same time, its not like you can cast appraisal on yourself to know fully what that is right out of the gate.People can't help who they're attracted to, and forcing yourself to be with someone you find unappealing is only going to cause heartbreak for both parties.
"You" doesn't mean just you, it's a general statement that people shouldn't force themselves into relationships if there's zero attraction, because people are fully capable of knowing themselves without experiencing things first-hand. If even the idea of dating and kissing boys disgusts a lesbian, then chances are she wouldn't change her mind after real experience. At worst it would be traumatizing even if both consent because often, as seen this chapter, the reasons for doing so is to seem "normal". Maybe some want to try outside the box, but it's kinda gross to tell gay people they don't understand themselves and to try dating the opposite gender to be sure.I don't get why yall love to bad faith paint people as "forcing themselves". If both were coming from a place of mutual interest it would be one thing, but this whole situation is right after Mahiro destroyed her relationship with her crush/ best friend and she's clearly in distress. An emotionally compromised person will not be making the best decisions. So back to my point with these two, her crying about wishing she could "fall in love with him instead" just has me going "Ok...try for a month or two then? See what happens?". Worst case is just reaffirming what you thought with actual evidence, best case is challenging what you thought by falling in love anyway. Of course, that DOES depend on him being down for that, lmao. It takes 2 to tango after all.
Really misinterpreting me here huh. My thoughts are applied to folks across the spectrum. Dunno why you gotta strawman me with "you think gay folks are wrong, they should try again". Also irked me that you fully sidestepped my criticism of your bad faith portrayal of it all as "forcing themselves into a relationship" with your wacky ass strawman.it's kinda gross to tell gay people they don't understand themselves and to try dating the opposite gender to be sure.
I actually knew someone this basically happened too back in high school lol just replace the sex part with normal datingAnd then they had sex. Turns out they both were bi all along. The End.
