I'm not about to get my stuff rejected bc I sent a genre of music you don't like again
"music taste is subjective!" yelled Grog as he blasted another Mexican drill rap song from his car stereo

(please remove gila monster from the rankings) :haa:
this thread would fall apart instantly if i removed scores on demand. but i have integrity, though i may never be thanked for it.

The Tale of Big Tidder and the Grog Ziller

On the first day, Grog approached the throne and presented Big Tidder with songs from his favorite band. Tidder retreated into his chambers and listened intently, then reemerged with a stern look on his face.

"I do not like this band, Grog. Do not return to me with such songs again."

The next day, Grog returned, songs in tow. Again, they were from his favorite band.

"Why have you brought me these, Grog?" bellowed Big Tidder. "Did I not tell you my thoughts yesterday? But I shall listen once more so that you may remember my ire."

Once again, Grog was admonished by Tidder, who found the songs rather distasteful.

"Grog," warned Tidder. "Heed these words: should you return to me on the morrow with yet more such atrocities, I shall have no choice but to flog you and your family."

The third day came, and Grog presented his songs, once again from his favorite band despite Tidder's warning.

"Grog!" exclaimed Tidder. "You will prolong this no further! If these songs displease me, I shall see you to the gallows myself!"

But Big Tidder listened to Grog's songs, and his heart was softened. Grog had dared to try what no man had— and he succeeded to the surprise of all who had doubted him.

However, his family was still flogged for his arrogance.

9.0/10.

7.6/10

4.3/10. imagine if two conductors were waving their batons to direct this song. one conductor was directing the music, and one the vocals. you could not tell which was which, however, because they were both erratically flapping their arms around in the same manner.

wow, this song has such great storytelling! 5.0/10

please tell me you're trolling. if you're not, then what is wrong with you? i'm assuming you shared this third song just to share it (as the limit is 2 ratings per day), so i won't rate it (you're welcome).

During the last set of studio sessions prior to Duane Allman's death via motorcycle accident at the end of October 1971, the Allman Brothers worked on several new tunes, three of which wound up on their first album following Duane's death, Eat a Peach. This particular tune, "Stand Back", was intended to be an instrumental originally, and given Gregg Allman's singing on it, it's probably best to view his vocal contribution as (what Frank Zappa would describe as) 'pitched mouth noises'.

7.3/10, deep cut. (well, maybe not super deep as it's on one of their most popular studio albums.) i'm never riding a motorcycle in my life, i view it as suicidal.

side note: Frank Zappa named one of his children Dweezil. fucking "Dweezil"
