Does it just pull up a random stat from the stats of the uma you used? With no regard to if it is the stats you most used?
Even if I've never used Pace Chaser with her, since it's an A aptitude it can trigger. So yes, a good recommendation would be "don't raise things you don't want later to trigger". Same goes for skills, you may use some points on a useless skill just to increase your score but it can take some other's place. Their number is randomised anyways, but within certain values. Just pure RNG (since you don't bet on races, you bet on luck).

I'm starting to get my firsts S, and can you guess what @Litreara ? All of them laters that can perform as pacers!

When it comes to me, I much prefer the new scenarios over the vanilla one, and I get great memes (besides running 30+ races while being undefeated). Winning Ticket got sparks on Turf, so she's going to be important for all my future trainees.

I promise this will be the last one in a while... one single point away from the second S, and again another later with S on Pace Chaser. At least she got sparks on Medium, so another worthy addition to the gene factory:

I admit I save all these endscreens as guides as to what to do myself. Since I have a lot of the same umas you all have.
The entire thing can be shared directly to another trainer ID, so we can send you anything. Besides, if you follow any of us you can borrow the support card as many times you want for free (it is always free) and use the Star Umamusume for inspiration (free once per day, discounts for club members).

@Litreara something I wanted to ask about the new upcoming competitions period: if you keep winning in the non-restricted league, will they start matching you with higher team points players or you'll always have similar opponents?

The first two rounds are basically random. The only thing that might make a difference is when you choose to race. I usually run very late in the round, like an hour before the next round starts, hoping to get weaker opponents. It seems to help sometimes, but there's no guarantee.

Now, for the finals, put on your tinfoil hat. There is definitely some kind of matchmaking system, but how it works is anyone's guess. Some people believe it's based on win rate, so on the second day of Round 2 they intentionally lose races, hoping to get easier opponents in the finals. Others think it's based on team score, meaning you're matched against players with a similar average team rating. And then there are people who believe the opposite: the higher your win rate, the easier your opponents become.

Honestly, I think it's probably a combination of win rate and average team score.

I was asking because, unlike the first and only time I participated, currently I'm barely getting good enough Umas to participate in the unrestricted one. Depending on the career and the position, I get A+ (close to S) and S characters, but I'm not getting even a whole trio of S+. So there's no official stance about how this works, huh?

Yeah, there's no official explanation for how the matchmaking works.

Also, I don't know if you're aware, but the Open League ceiling was raised from B to A+.

@Litreara I was checking the best player and for some reason now Guts is the new meta? Of course, they also have high Speed + Power, and Wit as well. Is it time to use my old Guts cards now?
