Eh... I can't really afford to pull for the Umas. I'm gonna spend all my Carats on the Light Hello SSR / Agnes Tachyon SSR support card banner, and then I'll have to save for the Mejiro Ramonu SSR banner, which comes out alongside the Mr. C.B. banner. If I still have any Carats left, I'll pull for Mr. C.B..

I got some tickets right now, so maybe I'll use them on the Summer Gold Ship banner.

Cancer Cup 2026 (CM15) Report, Part 1: Searching for "The Unicorn XOguri"

Once again, I spent way too much time trying to get decent parents for XOguri, and I ended up starting my Ace runs after the League Selection had already begun. That left me with only four days to train an Ace for Round 1. On my first run, I got this:

She got all the skills I wanted... but she doesn't have Medium S. I tried using her on the first day of Round 1 in the CM because I wasn't happy with the other ones I had, but the problem is that, without the 5% max speed bonus from Medium S, she would hit her max speed while the others with Medium S kept accelerating past it. As a result, she lost a lot of races. That's why Distance S is so important when you actually reach your max speed.

Between Day 1 and Day 2 of Round 1, I got this one:

She's pretty good. She has the same win rate as my overall win rate in Round 1, 65%. The problem is... she doesn't have any late-race skills, and she doesn't have Corner Recovery, which is much better than Preferred Position. The problem with Preferred Position is that it's a positional requirement skill, whereas Corner Recovery is a track requirement skill. So Preferred Position can fail to activate, and then it's GG.

So, I'm still in the mines, trying to get "The Unicorn XOguri": the first XOguri's skill set, the second one's stats, and Medium S. The closest I've gotten is this one. She has the late-race skills, but she doesn't have Corner Recovery:

I'm gonna give her a try on Day 1 of Round 2, but I'm still hunting for the Unicorn.

By finishing the story, you'll get this card:

Then, do a run with the card. If you complete all of its events, you'll get this skill:

Now all you need to do is complete this main story and use the Uma with that skill to inspire Special Week in the final race:

Supreme Racist Ruler of Japan Special Week, besides being pretty solid on her own, is also kind of a mandatory parent for the Arima Kinen CM.

Cancer Cup 2026 (CM15) Report, Part 2: Unicorns don't exist... Well, technically, they're just very improbable.

I tried the third XOguri I posted, but it didn't go so well. I had to go back to the second one to secure my spot in the finals on Day 1 of Round 2. Between Day 1 and Day 2 of Round 2, I got this one:

She's the closest I've gotten to the Unicorn. She has the skills, including Corner Recovery, and she has Medium S... but she's kind of lacking in Power. If I'd had slightly better parents, I think I could've found the Unicorn, but it is what it is.

I used her on Day 2 of Round 2, and she ended up with a 60% win rate, which isn't bad. So I'm taking her into the finals.

Heh, I almost never play on my phone, but I don't think I've ever seen it crash. And my phone is pretty outdated (an iPhone 7). On PC, though, I've seen it crash and stutter a lot. Not to mention the constant disconnects.

Fatty secured the Carats. Finally, my CM losing streak is over.

The next CM is a Sprint CM... Everyone's gonna run Pace Chasers. Anything can happen.

I've been trying to pull Summer Golshi by grinding today, but I spent all my carats on the Seiun Sky rerun because she's my oshi (trying to get max star unlock for her and Ballroom version). I didn't even get her, I got Narita Brian

I could pull for Summer Golshi, but the Grand Live scenario is coming out on the 22nd, and the Agnes Tachyon SSR Speed card is basically mandatory for it. So I only have one more shot at getting her with the one ticket I haven't gotten yet from the current event.

I'm seriously considering sitting this CM out. The update shot the requirements through the roof, and although parent runs supposedly got easier, I'm not really seeing it. Sure, the affinity changes made things easier, and the spark rerolls also help, but it's still very RNG-heavy, so yeah, I'm not seeing it. I really don't like Sprint/Mile CMs.
