if you really insist on using "too far away" as an excuse for not using public transport (despite jp's trains being among or even THE fastest in the world), then there's also company housing, staying at manga cafes/karaokes etc after work - at least for some days/weeks until his mind is clearer and he can focus on his situation and doesn't basically commit fucking suicide while dragging someone else into it lol
cause using such a far-fetched and utterly forced setting to set up even more random bullshit - namely the stabbing of someone innocent as "revenge" (which doesn't even make sense) - makes this prolly the worst and most ridiculous dumpster fire i've ever had the displeasure of smelling.
You do realize the "jp's trains being among or even THE fastest in the world" you are referring to costs as much as an airplane ticket, right? And those other trains you are thinking of are regional transport that are, not very only pricey, but skip whole chunks of train stations because they are express trains. Everything in between has to be reached by car, if too far by bus. And public transport doesn't go everywhere, because they have fixed routes and are not taxis.
And why would a black company of all things even have company housing in the first place? The whole point is to be a shittier version of Amazon, that works their slaves to their limits before replacing them with new slaves. Why would a company as greedy as that invest money on temporary workers? Manga cafes cost money (which family does not have). And since when could actually sleep in a karaoke that have strict time limits of around 20-30 minutes -- with staff watching on cameras and barging in to make sure you get out when times up?
And I never defended the stabbing, so don't throw that shit on me.
