Thank you for reading!

I really enjoyed this series when I was following along on Twitter but I didn't expect the translation to be as well liked as it appears to have been. The reaction has been fun to see. It makes me feel a tiny bit of how sugar. talks about feeling seeing the regular, direct replies to her work.

I certainly never expected sugar. herself to notice and then (somewhat) approve of the translation. Kinda cool, kinda scary.

In any case, if you liked this series PLEASE support it financially or maybe even throw sugar. some cash via her Fanbox. It helps support the author and show that the international market is worth caring about, even for smaller manga.

A literal "they're roommates" ending with another depression slam outta nowhere that gets resolved in 5 pages.

I liked the start of this and a good chunk of the run, but is it mean of me to say that I feel like it's a cheap ending? Am I being unkind to myself?

Honestly you two... become a gal who can consensually grope your partner while sober.

Eh, I thought the actual ending portion was pretty cute. It had cake, and epithets! And it's true that depression doesn't just get banished once and for all, in many cases, which is important to know.

You are just unkind to the author who got cancelled and wasn't able to convey the message they obviously cared about in any kind of detail they had planned for.

Well considering it was likely axed, the landing was rough but not a disaster. Shame Isekai slop can run for a thousand chapters, but anything with fun and whimsy is lucky to get fifty. Really would have loved to see what the author could have done with proper breathing room. Here's to keeping an eye on the authors twitter for their next work! https://x.com/001_sugar

Thanks for the scanlation!

Perfectly in character for Nagi to tell Airi everyone not to get so caught up in their hobby that they don't pursue new ones. Don't make any one thing your whole personality, it just makes you feel rudderless when you inevitably lose interest.
I loved the structure of this series, the openminded overview of otakudom. Even when some characters were put off by a particular special interest, the manga itself was presenting them in a very non-judgmental way. Like, yes, they're weird, and so is everyone else, no big deal. It's a damn tragedy the serialization couldn't go on longer because I think sugar. could have cooked for ages yet exploring different subcultures.
Overall a fun, unique manga with unexpected depth and weirdness, I'm gonna miss it. But I look forward to more from sugar.

This hits too close to home.. with exception of the real treasures of the friend she made along the way.
The older you get, the more refined is your taste and critical thinking, resulting in somewhat 'boredom' phase. Then you feel like you are losing yourself.. then you start losing your way.

Certainly a bit mixed on the latter half of this volume for various reasons. The evil and intimidating axe being involved certainly explains a few things, and I may just not be appreciating the deeper themes beyond the silly funny haha goofs... but all that aside, I don't regret reading this. And if sugar.'s looking into English printings of the manga I'll definitely be getting those, it's cool of them to be so willing to accept the English TL it's had.

Nagi and Airi are such a fun pair, I know we got the volume extras coming up but I'm already missing them lol. Nagi and everyone else's talk this chapter was especially sweet, it's wonderful seeing all the work Airi put in come back to her like that

thanks for the chapter and your work on this manga in general! Was a great time front to back, and super cool to see your work noticed by the mangaka lol, I will def have to keep up with their posts from here

Man, I'm glad that this manga at least concluded very nicely, and I'm very happy for Airi :qq: (and for Nagi-chan too :smugnako:)
This was one of a kind manga and I hope this author does something more in the future
(Yes, I'm ignoring all those nonsense-horror chapters like they never happened 🙏:nyoron:)
