I'm seriously considering sitting this CM out. The update shot the requirements through the roof, and although parent runs supposedly got easier, I'm not really seeing it. Sure, the affinity changes made things easier, and the spark rerolls also help, but it's still very RNG-heavy, so yeah, I'm not seeing it. I really don't like Sprint/Mile CMs.

Leo Cup 2026 (CM16) Report, Part 1: I don't need this CM's Carats. I definitely don't need this CM's Carats... I NEEEEEED THEM!​

So, in the end, I wound up scrambling together a team for the CM. Here's the team I used in Round 1:

It's not a great team. Fatty is lacking Wit, King Halo is lacking Power, and Taiki doesn't have Sprint S. Even so, the team managed a 63% win rate, which, considering everything, is pretty good for a Sprint CM.

I'm still doing a few runs to try to improve the team. Last night, I high-rolled a Taiki run and ended up with my first UG Uma:

I'm really curious to see how she'll perform in the second round. Let's see if I can improve the others too.

Leo Cup 2026 (CM16) Report, Part 2: A Strong Uma Is... Strong.​

I tried to improve the team, but I didn't get lucky. So, the team I used in Round 2 was the same one I posted before, except I replaced Taiki with the UG one. And well, she did very well:

A 52.5% win rate in the second round of a Sprint CM is pretty good. She raised my overall win rate from 63% to 75%, which is excellent for someone who wasn't even planning to participate in the CM.

I'm hoping for a win in the finals, but it's a Sprint CM, and shit happens:

Since you're no longer using Trackblazer mode, are the careers shorter to complete?

Yeah, it's much shorter. I did all my runs in Unity Cup, and you can finish one in under 30 minutes. If they hadn't rolled out the Unity Cup update early and I'd had to do my runs in Trackblazer, I probably wouldn't have entered the CM.

Also, the new scenario is dropping pretty soon. From what they've said, it's much closer to Unity Cup than it is to Trackblazer.
