I don’t see scans/raws yet. Does she do anything or is this an “introduction” chapter?
Because the pace of this story so far, I’m expecting 1 chapter to go, hey, it’s x. Then 1 chapter of x saying something with a “tease” final sentence. Then a 3rd chapter that gives us a cliffhanger of some action or porn and we cut back to something else happening elsewhere.
and it took us 3-4 months to get across what should have been only 3 panels of one page
Wait a minute... What's the armor she's wearing? Mizunoha Armor is only usable if you're a virgin if I remember correctly, and Yomi lost hers in the OG series.
Since we last saw her being kidnapped by Nect, maybe this isn't Mizunoha Armor at all, but an imitation based on Dominator tech.
That, or Aoka's mom had ordered development of new models that can be used without the virgin condition since they lost Mashiro's Avant Rouge and they needed all the fighters they can get in armors to defend their Void.

I wish I read this comment sooner T_TPeople who r gonna read this just bcs of the GL tag, I advise you to stop reading after chapter 1 cuz for one, the romantic development is kinda ass and leaves you thinking "what the fuck is going on" LMAO. Two, chapter 2 fr went 180 way too fast and can likely give you trauma💀 (yes i am a victim also curiosity killed the cat)

Yep, it's Yomi. Looks like Nect is a Yomi simp now. He was a traitor back then only because Dolman's rebellion dragged him into it, and even attacked and kidnapped Yomi during a critical battle. But he's actually working with Yomi now to break into a Dominator facility.
And now I understand why the author was saying people are probably gonna hate Liao (this statement in a manga already filled with despicable people). What she did w/ Hibana, Zane, and her former teammates didn't really demonstrate the reason for the author making that comment. THIS scene w/ the blonde girl is what he meant. The Dominator lackeys act based on instincts and lower brain. The Supreme Commander is acting to reach a goal. But Liao looks like she's going even further than the men just for the LOLS. This is probably just the tip of the iceberg, unless she's killed soon.
But idk. What do you guys think? Will Liao be in the manga for several years? She's basically a Weird Tags Checklist engine for the story, if I had to guess.

But anyway um… so Yomi has more limbs than I remember her having last time I saw her. Or um… less instantly burned away by a laser. I forget which “definitely dead” fate she had in the OG manga.
It doesn’t even look like a scratch happened to her. And Doleman survived a point blank headshot without a scratch too.
Just what is the medical technology level in this universe? What can’t it solve? Will the guy who’s head flat out exploded come back next?
Anyway, doesn’t look like much happened. Just more rape and… yeah a confirmation that Yomi is alive… which we already teased last month. So… next month maybe we’ll learn her plan, 2 months from now she acts on it, 3 months from now we get a “surprise”, and then 4 months from now we’ll maybe see if her plan might be successful or not.

Okay, went back and looked at it. Yomi got stabbed through the abdomen, then blew up, then got gang raped while giving a “obviously dying speech” because she acted like a mentor to Mashiro and the mentor has to die for the hero to step up.
That really should be a death sentence for a character.
But fine, she’s back….using armor that only works if she’s a virgin because I guess she still is one….despite the gang rape.

Yeah literally what even purpose of Win in story if we keep retreading the past, now it obvious Yomi Will likely fail here cuz this is how writing of this likely and then she Will get r*pe again which i see no purpose to her again, cuz her adversary literally working with her now which something i see in common happen to old cast and she also kill the guy who take her virginity unless they made Liao drug her and make her f*ta and do Yomi uless we see what happen between Yomi and Nect which another flashback again and have them have s*x and became a thing for some reason

So… the author writes “what if” scenarios on his website. Though… half of them were literally Mashiro getting raped by nemuro so that plan he had for a while.
One was dark Mashiro eating out Mashiro
The others I don’t remember.
I asked about the novel before as well and that’s what people directed me to.
I think a lot of it is thank to the old editor holding off the author from going all out, he is free now and make whatever he want with no constrain. This series should just be a hentai instead of borderline, it's clear the author just want to write rape porn with mech.

At the very least, I’d like the series to move at a faster pace again. You can still be monthly, but it shouldn’t have taken 3 chapters for the Zane and Humana scene (at this point I’m just going to let autocorrect keep calling her Humana). It takes 2 minutes to read 3 months of waiting.
The OG weaves scenes like this mixed with a mech battle and a side plot. They developed multiple things at once. So even if something took a few months time, it didn’t feel like absolutely nothing was happening.
Like really, what even is going on right now with win and win’s team right now? We won’t even get a chance to know until after Yomi scenes are done…and maybe more flashbacks. We have a pretty good chance of not seeing the titled character until 2027.
That’s bad pacing/storytelling.

Okay, and because I’m sure I said nasty things on the original Mashiro rape scene, just let me clarify my thoughts on that.
In a bubble, the Gloria and Mashiro 1-2 punch are perfect. They are the scenes I come back to the most. I love hentai that does the bad end/powerful woman defeated thing.
The issue was that they were the first indications that winvurga and her cast of characters were complete filler crap. Winvurga did nothing but go “where is Mashiro” for 25 issues. Then we found Mashiro…. And win has done nothing since. We’ve just had more flashbacks to more of Mashiro’s cast of characters.
The OG cast scenes are perfectly fine in a bubble. But these inclusions have made it obvious that there’s no reason to care about win and her cast. They won’t get development. And sure, win will probably save the day with magical futa powers because this universe has no end of magical ass pulls, but it’s still going to feel like a magical ass pull.
The OG cast got way more character development, and it’s clear that they are still the real leads of the story.
Rebellion should have started with the “bad end” for our heroes, and then followed their attempts to escape. Since clearly those are the people the author cares about. Follow them.
