This is basically like getting a super special scholarship directly from the head honcho of the school. In the normal world people wouldn't act so... dumb about all this. They'd congratulate those that got the scholarship and maybe talk behind their backs, but otherwise everyone would go about their day because it doesn't actually matter lmao. Like who cares that they got an early enrollment? If it's fraudulent and they can't keep up then they'll fall behind. If they have to keep bribing the school then you'll get extra funding for your classes. But calling it fraudulent in the first place is dumb considering it's one dirt poor commoner and one duke.

I really am tired of all instant fight nonsense in these settings. Like ya'll. I mean can we talk about the student that wasn't even the top scorer, but decided to get an attitude at the most basic first day, "Do you best and don't slack off." speech. WHY ARE YOU EVEN THERE if you don't think you have anything to learn? I don't believe the story when it says this crap is normal. These kids always act like psychopaths with a bone to pick against the whole world. God is that why ruling nobles in these stories are so terrible? Because they grow up from this stock of idiots??

Looks like they decided to skip over introducing another character to get to the duel with Anoi more quickly.

The duel always seem a bit contrived to me as the principal is acknowledged as the world's strongest. That's why she could force through the special admission group in a short period of time, everyone was too afraid to push back on it. Given that, it's basically impossible to for anyone to intimidate or force her to do something she doesn't want to do. In terms of bribes, she can pretty easily get whatever item she wants so it's unlikely they could find something to tempt her. Plus if it was a bribery scheme then fucking with the people who bribed her sounds like a great way to piss her off. Also deliberately targeting the Duke's son is extra stupid. You really think the duke can't deal with you?

Minor nitpick on page 16 it uses his to refer to the principal when the principal is a woman.

Smug pretty teacher smile.

It's the world of an RPG game, which means it's basically going to be a shounen as a world where all conflicts inevitably lean towards fighting it out as a solution.

With that in mind, Anoi is being way more reasonable than most jobbers with his role in other stories. Rather than gossip behind the MC's back or grumble or scheme with petty tricks, he's just up and saying it.
His argument isn't bad either. Just because the principal is strong doesn't mean she's immune to corruption. If anyone would be able to cheat their way into this position, it would be the ducal family.

That said, they should probably make it clear that Zenon doesn't actually have to win the duel (which he will because he's the main character) to justify his presence here. As long as he has a good enough showing, people should be satisfied.
In fact, it would actually be a better demonstration if it was Zenon vs Yuno. The biggest counterexample to the accusation is Yuno's existence as a commoner and letting them both show their stuff against each other should do the trick no matter who wins.

It's bizarre on a few levels, logically. Like firstly, you're right that a more normal reaction would be to just accept that the extremely tough academy and its very powerful principle isn't just straight up bending the rules for no reason (maybe you question that reason but it has really little to do with the people receiving the academy places). Secondly, why would you put your face out to get slapped before assessing whether or not the early enrolment guys are actually strong or not (something that would probably become apparent after some classes). Kids are impulsive sure, but it just reads like the author wanted to check the "Isekai academy intro duel" box because it's a genre trope.

Their thinking is justified but, just from the prestige of the principal you can also argue that they should trust their jugdement since no one is stronger than the principal
This just goes to show how many retards you got in this school OR its to the point that no one takes the principal seriously even when she's OP, this is practically her fault since she should have controlled/dominated the others when it comes to doing what she says/do sorta like not in a dictator way but as a top leader way :aquadrink:

Like the kid mentioned MC committed fraud like dudes literally insulting the OP principal saying she accepted fraud by letting MC come in in exchange for money or favors, its wild ngl :nyoron:
