Fact remains the guild wants his service badly, and everyone is aware and have witness how guildmaster will do ANYTHING to achieve that. But dude cannot start massacre everyone under reason they will be a PROBLEM later, as if problem arise, everyone can name who the fuck doing that. In a way, this is a good conclusion and glad this arc has finally finished.

This sort of news spreads fast, with so many witnesses. No one would risk barring his way. Why would they? The authorities have nothing to gain by doing so and much to potentially lose. Any direct guild associates would have to be nuts to risk their lives for the sake of a guildmaster that got them in this crap in the first place.

I disagree, they already said that just a medium size FIRE spirit could easily destroy the whole town
so I def can imagine it that just 1 great spirit could easily destroy a city and this dude has like 4 of them so yea I highly doubt he would get killed from these regular weak people

Tho I do agree with you that MC shouldn't just start massacring people left and right ESPECIALLY since he wants to interact and live with people and he's doing that perfectly fine except for this 1 guild, so why create even more problems where its not needed especially when others can clean it up for you aka the merchant girl and her powerful dad who has connections with nobles and probably the king at this point

I do find it kinda odd that he lives in a giant wasteland and it was easier for him to contract a water spirit and nature spirit before even encountering a fire spirit.

Sure there isn't much to burn, but there wasn't much water or plant life either before it was brought in / dug out.

NGL, the guild master should be ousted for his abuse of power. MC already has connections with one of the more powerful merchants, and they were acting as a middleman for the local nobility. So just a short conversation should put him in a meeting with the powers that be to denounce the guild master for the crooked cunt he is.

He hardly did anything. Everyone gets off without consequences, besides being slightly inconvenienced by needing to weed the building for one or two days. By declaring Yuuta an enemy the Guild Master even got an easy way out of his earlier promises to punish the people responsible for ruining Yuuta's reputation and trying to abduct his students (meaning: committing actual crimes).
Heck, with the way the talk went I bet some present still think Yuuta is an ungrateful charlatan and the guild master did everything out of the kindness of his heart.

Because "thorny" ones already likely do the same, just more efficiently. Poisonous plants are only really dangerous if ingested, otherwise most are harmless. Some have the ability to irritate or cause blisters on touch, but thorny plants do the same and have a better chance to do something against people decked out in armor and other gear.

He did do something. First of all, every adventurer is now going to dread running into him in the dungeon, some might even decide to stop going altogether. This has a direct effect on the guild's economy and guess who's going to be blamed for it? Secondly, he undermined the guildmasters position, since it's his fault all of this happened. That's in addition to the pressure he was already at to find the guy responsible for killing the dragon and now for the guild being hobbled.

I knew what was coming, but considering this was the climax of this confrontation, they could have shown the wails of the people trapped in the guild building filled with thorny plants more in the manga. Maybe one of the next chapters will show more of the reactions.
