because it's the worse song. "generic" more means that a song doesn't excel at much of anything rather than it's very unpleasant to listen to (which El Gato Volador is)

I LOVE DIEGETIC MUSIC IN GAMES
okay to the song itself is a pretty good boss theme for the sirens already but the boss fight when ever you defeat parts of the bands they drop out from the composition
when the lead signer goes into a clam the singing becomes muffled
and each spotlighted member who gets a boosted attack for that run is increased in volume for it as well
gods i love how many different ways this one song can be heard in hades 2

6.3/10, an alright song standalone. i know what you mean about adaptive/dynamic music though, it makes moving to the next phase of a boss battle 100x better, especially when it's a smooth transition with no gameplay pauses. i beat Hades I 100% years ago but have no plans to play Hades II as of now

and now for non mili music in a game mili did music for what a shocker.

that should be illegal! Mili is like salt: everything tastes better with it and there's no such thing as 'too much'

In year 2010, back when my big brother was going to highschool he saw a classmate bring a guitar to class and play bunch of songs to impress people(girls), this Ayo Techonology song was one of the few songs his classmate sang. Of course no one knew enough english in that classroom to understand lyrics, most likely including the the guitar boy himself, but foreign song + guitar + singing was more than cool enough for the high school classroom.
Later in life when my big brother went to college he bought a guitar and this was one of the songs he tried playing before realizing its far cooler to play spanish songs and learnt those instead. I never bothered reading its lyrics up to now, and damm they are not good.

Aoi Yuuki is seriously prolific, i swear she's everywhere these days. the mailman who stepped on your rose bush? Aoi Yuuki. your Uber driver who wouldn't stop coughing for the entire 25 minute drive? Aoi Yuuki. that vomiting drunk you passed by on your way home from work? yep, that was Aoi Yuuki.

They're in the afterlife and stay there because they have unfulfilled business (regret and stuff), once their unfulfilled business is resolved they're gone.
Iwasawa is part of an organization in afterlife who opposes God because they believe their shitty lives are God fault.
She is in a band (as vocalist and guitarist), the band purpose is to act as distraction so the main team can do their thing.
Then in one of the operation, their concert gets distrupted, and as last ditch effort she takes her guitar and starts singing solo.
That song is the last song Iwasawa sings. Which resolve her problem and causing her to disappears.
