that’s actually a detail I LOVE about this series. Mc is a dating sim protagonist. She’s meant to have a beauty so overwhelming that even royalty would fall for her. Her power is LITERALLY being supernaturally beautiful, and her fate within the game was for that beauty to draw in men to protect her. Yet, she’s instead weaponized it as a means of getting people to lower their guards so she can kill them.

The reforged weapons are silly as practical weapons but are fine as fantasy game weapons (which is the rule set this world runs on).

I mean, this stick is literally just a big chunk of metal. I think even if you make like 5 swords from it, they maybe won't be great, but they will be usable.

But personally, I don't think any special fonts are really needed. Mostly, it takes away from how the scene is expressing itself by forcing an interpretation of the tone used. If no special font was used originally, then I don't think the translation should use it either. It was already using black bubbles in this case (which I assume was also in the original) so the change in tone is already conveyed.

Typography is a specialized skill. Doing it without proper understanding is like typesetting manga with Times New Roman, or writing formal letters with Comic Sans. Even among authors there's very few who can do cool sh!t with text effect (and if they do, you'll need considerable photoshop skill to replicate them), no need to force using something else unless it's absolutely needed.

Even if she was actually 12, I'll still be giving those guys the side-eye. Pretty? Sure, she is a otome heroine afterall. But I'll much MUCH rather those who are interested in her remain to be the guys (and one confused girl) who are actually in her age group. Having said that, I miss the dark skin mommy maid......

They are more tools than weapons. She rarely throw them at opponents meaning to kill with them and is actually use as a weight for the wire (hair? I can't remember what she's using) or feint. Hell even the smith called them tools.
That being said, The hook one I would make a bit longer so that it has more length to bite into something, the slashing one.....umm...yeah I can't think of a single use for that like they saw a chakram and went "that looks cool, gonna use that design", the good ol' kunai better designs exists but it still gets the job done, the weighted one.....there's 0 reasons for it to be cross shaped and not just a solid piece

Agree, but, I think the weighted one has a good reason to be cross shaped, the smaller the impact area, the more force it will have. That's why actual war hammers are actually kind of small compared to the fantasy ones, there is just no reason for it to be this big, It's heavier, so harder to use if it's just a solid chunk of metal and it packs less of a punch, even if it's bigger.

So, Cross shape actually takes off some weight, so you can swing it faster, and the actual impact has more force behind it.

It's a common assassin trope where they are highly uncomfortable sleeping prone. Some even go as far as to sleep fully dressed sitting in a chair weapon in hand.

She is also a solo adventurer who rarely has the need or desire for the creature comforts we so crave. So a clear space that is warm and dry is about all that's needed for her comfortably sleep in a position she finds appropriate.

The cross shape is for more damage. What hurts more? If someone steps on you with a flat heel or a stiletto? The shape also gives it some aerodynamics. Between a literal ball of iron or the cross shape, the latter will face less air resistance, and she won't have to worry about its orientation for a left right sweep or straight throw.
