That's my problem with how this has been laid. He went straight to help the band where there should have been signals that something wasn't right. Unless the author puts us on Kurose's perspective in the moment he decided to help the band and let's us see what his reasoning was to join, I can't believe someone would go help a bunch of strangers with their music stuff when his trauma is related to that. And as much he wanted to look cool to Haimiya, no, I don't believe someone who went through that would even consider showing off to her crush a valid reason to risk a trigger.

Not really, like I said, you don't throw yourself into a situation were you risk the same bad situation from happening again as easily as Kurose seemed to do. The motivations make sense, but his fear should be another factor with way more weight that it seemed to have. That's what I said we lack a piece of info and it's his own POV when he decided to take the risk. Maybe he thought he could soldier it.

As someone who's performed quite a lot and still do...I absolutely still feel the horrors from past performances and what went wrong and it is just something that is really hard to get rid of. I really feel sorry for him, because I know personally how crushing the pressure of trying to live up to what is expected in performance arts is. I hope he gets better soon..

The art is great. The writing is below average. These circumstances would have undoubtedly created behavior that would have shown up prior in him.

It's just such an inorganic, "We need some kind of drama to add to this arc," type of writing. It reminds me of reading bad fanfiction that uses trauma in the same reductive manner to foster a conflict rather than being integral to a character.

In short: Yeah, sure. Whatever, man.

And that ptsd come back from nothing literally. No foreshadowing or whatever just a random ptsd arc for the FMC to improve her relationship with him easily and quickly.
Its not bad but not good either.
