It's a "different world". It's not real. Everything is made up. It's a fictional story. What is so hard to believe that in that world, there is only a single land mass? In our own world, for multiple millenniums, the European, African, and Asian land masses knew nothing of the Americas. What's to say the same thing isn't happening in this fictional land, that they only know of a single land mass because no other land mass so far has been discovered?

So, they can't even continue the matches while these pointless negotiations are going on? The king is truly letting the nobles know they are nothing in front of the royal power. Wendelin would be better off accepting pretty mild terms, just to get rid of this whole waste of time event, and then working behind the scenes to bring the opponent to ruin. I'm fairly sure he could achieve that. It should also have far less restrictions than this "war", which is nothing but extremely low budget theater in bad taste.

It didn’t help that the anime kinda sucked. They made Wendelin too much of a wimp.

If they ever had to animate this arc, i reckon most ppl would be ok if it were omitted, glossed over, or abbreviated.

It didn’t help that the anime kinda sucked. They made Wendelin too much of a wimp.

If they ever had to animate this arc, i reckon most ppl would be ok if it were omitted, glossed over, or abbreviated.

Likely would have been resolved in just a few episodes. One for the setup, one or two for the different battles and duels, and one ir two for them to cover the conclusion. Or if they though it too boring, one episode for the setup and Wen cleaning up, and the next showing the aftermath.

To be honest, if this was intended manufactured incompetence then it suddenly becomes a pretty ingenious idea. Making two parties feuding with each other stuck in arbitration hell where they are not fighting is basically peace. They really should find some arbitration representatives though instead of the heads of the houses being there, that way everyone can just do their own thing while the spokesperson just goes NO everyday to whatever the other person say.
