uh, like a lot?
why do you think there happened many coup d'etat in the past?
Nicolae Ceaușescu, Thomas Cromwell by king Henry VIII case, Dreyfus case, and even modern corporates still using this tactics until now. this method usually used for short term solutions to calm the masses and effective AF. this was also the reason Rome has Colosseum to begin with. to control the masses dissatisfaction trought "venting" it to something or someone else
Power struggles involving the highest echelons of government, especially authoritarian ones work differently and are not the topic here. None of your examples involved institutions, not to even mention the public's reaction to them. It's an important distinction, since unlike a head of government, an instituion is not seen purely as the person currently at it's top. You claim corporations do this, but give no example. We are not talking scapegoating someone to a superior, but making the public somehow believe that all the harm done was purely the fault of one guy they likely never seen before in an organization where everyone basically comes and goes.

I can see that royal officer looks at the GM... by imagining him as GMan interpreting the situation as a good time to say "By the way, Guild Master.... what will it be? TIME... to choose...."

well, how about Bernie Madoff’s Ponzi Scheme case,BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill case, Volkswagen "Dieselgate" Emissions Scandal case and even Facebook & Cambridge Analytica Data Scandal? there more but the most recent in decades might be the easier example how those problem forced to end in public eyes by scapegoating or making someone taking responsibility to stop the loss.

there also Ford pinto incident in 1977 as another example if needed.
those measurements really didn't do much but it does prevent any further loss for short term. this is why corporates and gov love this method

What about them? Are you saying a specific individual took the fall for them? That's news to me and even you just refer to the organizations themselves. Madoff is know because that was far from him only famous stunt and it actually was him.

are you expecting me to write full blown paragraphs of journals? lol no, go search the details yourself. i just provide you that the case do exist and have been practiced continuesly for centuries at least.

the matter is, we need to go back to the original point of discussion. like it or not, for centuries, scapegoating has indeed been practiced and ironically almost always a way out for a group/organization/company or even a country to solve their problems, whether the scapegoat is actually guilty or not.

Sorry, but "do your own research" is just short for "I've nothing, but will die on this hill anyway", so don't expect me to prove your case for you. It's not my fault you're so eager to double down, you're now going into the absurd with those "centuries" without even considering that's about beyond the scope of modernity itself, not to mention organizations like discussed here. At the end of the day, it's mostly a fictional trope.

I like how the other guildmasters are like "we are greedy assholes, so we would have done the same in your place, but since we are greedy assholes, you will be held accountable nevertheless"

dawg, what you asked for is if there even proof of it actually been done, and i already gave you.
all that i said is if you want detail, you just need to search each name i provide if you want to know more. how the fucc "search for the details yourself from the list i provide" turned into "i have no evidence" BS? do you even read my reply or you just retard at this point? i didn't ask you much. i already give what you asked and all i said is, if you want detailed version, you can just search it yourself from what i provide.

man, talking to you here just annoying, like talking to a wall.

There's a theory going around that her losses are due to all the magic power she is using "for free": we hope that when the dead land will be revitalised, she will be as well...

Well to be honest, it is very tiring to read your replies, since you can't be arsed to use proper grammar, punctuation or anything else that is just basic etiquette when communicating. I generally try to deal with such things and not mention it out of courtesy, but it kind of pisses me off when the other person also starts demanding to be taken at their word and throws name-calling tantrums when it's pointed out, so here we are. You've made statements and anything to back those up you consider "details" someone else should look for. Well, the golden rule is that claims without evidence are to be dismissed without evidence, hence this is exactly what has happened. I'm sure other people reading this can judge for themselves who the "retard" is, so no need to get so excited. Maybe we'll se you on that thread where people demand to get their silly posts deleted one day?

Zein has a point. He is not going to copy paste an entire journal or case study in a forum which has nothing to do with politics or corporate. Although he could have included links to prove his point, but he provided the names.

The rest of us doesn't really want him to spam the forum with him copy pasting the entire case study because you wanted full proof.

Let's not act like I demanded "full proof" or some sort of extensive documentation. I asked which individuals by his reconing were given up to the public as scapegoats, since when I think of any of those incidents, no one in particular comes to mind (and I believe I made that quite clear). These are not "details", like he's trying to spin it, it's the entire point of the conversation (that he engaged in, mind you). How else am I to judge whether an example makes sense to me? I'm sorry, but acting like this is some sort of immense chore, designed to tire the other side out is just laughable and that's already ignoring the juvenile attempt at a personal attack.
