Every time I read one of these chapters of Kobasanchi, I remember how good the people in charge of the anime were in doing their job.

Being anime only first and then switching to the manga is quite the stark contrast.

Man this series really should just end. I hate how Cool has been using the main story to tell filler stuff like this. I thought the point of the others getting their own manga was for throwaway chapters like this to he in their own series.

It was a good chapter, but talking about Petla, her whole gag with being Lucoa's sidekick in assaulting Shouta is getting old atp. I really hope Cool doesn't intend on keeping her as Shouta's second familiar, and eventually gets her her own human or smth like that. It would help her develop much more as a character, and Shouta's story can focus on Lucoa rather than Lucoa and her sister who wants to assault him too. Not saying I hate her chapters with Lucoa, it's just that it would be wasting her character, and her character seems much more entertaining when she's NOT with Lucoa and especially Shouta. (I like Lucoa and Shouta btw, I am only talking about their dynamic)

Her whole character is a waste. She somehow feels more like Cool just wanting to do his shotacon fetish more than Lucoa. At least Lucoa can be funny. With her sister there's nothing really funny about it. And since Lucoa is also there its just a gag on top of a gag, which imo brings Lucoa as a character down.

The anime is so much better, since it cuts out so much of Cool's fetish parts. The sad part is early day Maid Dragon wasn't this. The manga has lost a lot of fans since the tone shift to Cool just making it like his shotacon manga. We barely get Kobayashi and Tohru chapters anymore. We barely even see Kobayashi

That's fair. But I do actually enjoy her when she isn't around Shouta/Lucoa. She seems like she could be a good character, it's just he spends way too much time using her for his fetishes.
