Story: brother what the fuck was that. After the creative twists of the last two chapters, this was the most generic, boring trope delivery I’ve had the misfortune of reading. like cmon. There weren’t any twists or compelling scenes, it was just a bland, boring, rehashed retelling of stuff we’ve already seen earlier in this same series.

The prince honestly didn't really do anything wrong. Villainess character just decided to both dump him and fuck him over instead of just dumping him for some reason.

Yeah the prince misdirected his anger, but why was it not made ABSOlUTELY SURE that he knew he's being demon haunted? feels like that was supposed to be Villainess girl's job in particular... and she definitely had motive to avoid that duty.

Also, even ignoring that, the story would've been more effective if she had left the prince for her just hating him as the Spirit King feels incredibly tacked on.

There's a skeleton of a decent story here, but the devil is in the details and the author just missed this time. Too bad, as the art would have well suited a story that actually earned its twists.

I ended up reading the short story for This one while waiting for it to be translated, and honestly I thought the OG author's design for the MC looked better than this artist's design for her...

Can't really side with the villainess in this one, since she was also kinda cheating on the prince. Granted, the spirit king seemed willing to wait a human lifetime, so he would have been fine picking her up after the king (or maybe she herself) passed away. It would have just been a loveless political marriage.

The other problem is how the prince was unaware of being cursed. And how she apparently revealed a secret closely guarded by the royal family in the middle of a party. So I guess the royal bloodline being cursed is no longer a secret.

This one was...fine. A bit generic but doesn't feel like it has anywhere else it could go. Appreciate the effort to put out so many TLs.

It’s literally a copy paste of an earlier chapter from previous volume where the MC is actually a descendant of almighty ancient dragons and she had this dragon king ready to be her backup plan all along.

The sequence of the story even plays out the same: MC gets accused by trash fiancee -> MC reveals she has superpowers/descendant of some kind of a powerful ancient clan -> MC calls out for her backup lover then runs out with him -> trash fiancee gets stripped of his privileges -> happy ending

I remember cuz I was rereading the entire volume again just the other day. The difference is only the earlier chapter has much better art than this one.

Not bad but there is in a precedent volume the same with the Dragon king in place of the Fairy King. it's difficult to have so many story and make them all different.

You know, all I could think was how the two kings look identical. Like I swear it's a straight up copy paste.

Ah yes, time to file this under the ol' "relationships/tropes I only accept in a story and because they're hot" category. She's ~18 and he's ancient but eternally young and inhuman so really it's totally ok yup.

I know this is part of the issue with a one chapter oneshot but I am tired of these expulsion events. Talking about things instead of just, naturally introducing and showing it is so much worse. The demons/curse thing was an okay angle but the fact that the lady only knows/can do things because bloodline has no real weight or likability. The prince inexplicably not being told anything about the purposes of marriage even at the age of 18 is dumb. The love interest for the villainess is so unnecessary to this plot that not only might as well not be there but is a bit creepy in the way a lot of fairy tales who do that kind of thing are.

I guess I just want things to happen present tense and for things to be likeable or at least unique in some way.

Thank you translator though, you're fueling us villainess fans even if the authors aren't delivering the goods, we still have something to whine about lol.
