There's a heck of a lot going on here.
Pharma is discovering that bedside manner is DIFFICULT, especially if you have an attachment to the person being treated.
Palle is continuing to prove that he's too damn dumb to survive. "I'm bruising super-easily and have been warned about sudden movement and exercise because of the risk of hemorrhage. I may have hallucinated that God spoke to me, but dammit, I'm still gonna jump up and down in my bed!"
Pharma, let the moron do himself in already. There's nothing you can do for the terminally stupid.

Thinking about it, there's an interesting thing with Sulfur Hexaflouride. SF6 is very dense for a gas, and even denser than CO2 Once you inhale it, it's VERY hard to get out of your lungs simply by exhaling. You have to bend over or even lay down to do so.
Pharma was still talking like Darth Vader after Palle collapsed.
(SF6 is fairly inert for exactly the opposite reason Helium and Neon are. The gasses on the edge of the Periodic Table are extremely resistant to reaction. Flourine is AMAZINGLY reactive. It's bonded violently to the Sulfur and won't let go without a ton of persuasion. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sulfur_hexafluoride)
I’ve read a few series where that is the basic explanation for why gods don’t get directly involved. They have a long sigh for talking about some time in the past Where they ordered a follower directly and he went freaking insane. Or the people around him did because he had the honor and privilege of speaking to a God.Now he know why the gods does not talk to them directly even to him.
That is very true. He probably just increased the chance of this medicine working by at least 30%.A healthy mindset promotes healing and encourages us to keep living.
You would be surprised how many people ignore doctors' instructions and do dumb stuff, yet still live the next day...
Eh, "too out of hand," isn't much difference from his usual.Medicine for the mind can have some bizarre side-effects. Let's hope these don't get too out of hand.
Wasn't he able to destroy matter just as much as he can make it? Or was that just germs and the like? Don't have time to reread a load of chapters to make sure right now. But if so, he could literally just unexist the hexafluoride out of his lungs when he's done.Thinking about it, there's an interesting thing with Sulfur Hexaflouride.
