Hmm... That background group behind the commenter trio in page 4, I feel like I've seen them before... Though I can't remember what or who they remind me of. Eiji Masuda does like his references and cameos, but they don't look like any of his characters.

Or maybe I'm just thinking too much about background characters with a generic-ish design.

it's the Sakuras from Sakura discord, all of them, they are in page 2 as well.
Standing are Shima, Oka and Kousuke in that order while the ones sat we can only clearly see Sumiyoshi and Mebuki on opposite seats, the ones in the outer seats are blocked from our view oddly enough, but the one behind Sakurajima has dark hair so it can't be Nomiya, don't have enough to recognize them and don't know if it's too much of an assumption to guess Nomiya is behind Kou.

I understand that you feel like Mangadex no longer has your back, but honestly, it never did, none of the websites do, you speak of Discord and that's even worse in regards to your personal details. Magazines won't come after you, they'll send a DMCA to Dex which will immediately remove what they asked, no one is going to bother coming after individual groups. Use a throwaway e-mail ID to make an account for uploads if you're still scared. Comick immediately scraped anything uploaded to Dex anyways.

Again, I know all of this and your points made are not the reason why people are leaving (or, in our case, tentatively sticking around for now). Discord is mentioned as it's where myself and the staff do most of our communicating with readers, so if this series (or any of our other 20 odd) ever disappears, then that's how people will find out where it's gone.
