I like this manga, but only one chapter per year is even worse than HunterXHunter. At that pace the author will shuck this mortal coil before chapter 80.

It's still hilarious how everyone thought the MC was a girl at first, and the mangaka and author have been desperately trying to make him look less effeminate ever since. The first chapter is nothing but ass-shots in tights, and his vest straight up has B-cup chest pads. He has a baby face, narrow shoulders, and wide hips. What were they expecting? It makes this new SHAFT™ persona all the sillier.

I think he was drawn as a girl to attract audience, since he turned into a boy when the harem arrived

after the "employment as a mapper by the guild" arc, where the protagonist found out that he was originally planned to be summoned as a dungeon boss, he meets up with the merchant he saved in the earliest chapters before coming to the city.
that merchant surprisingly happens to run the biggest trade organization on the continent.
he was doing an escort mission, but they were set up and had to abandon the cargo.
60 ambushers on horses were completely dispatched by the protagonist on motorcycle.
as you can see, he also has access to power armor.

Afaik it’s a character thing. They have different characters they can swap to, first character was a woman, and shaft’s character is a big dude
