There's a few changes from the LN but not much since it's mostly just a the order of a few things. Her upcoming attack will be freaking awesome so I'm excited to see how it's drawn. Also I wonder if Jet will still ks lol

This has been an awesome couple of chapters so far. Some real character defining moments.

Hurray, the deus ex machina are doing so well... Sigh.
These characters were all established as strong fighters for many chapters. We are only just now seeing them let loose. It's like complaining about Justice League because Superman finally decided to give a no-holds bar asskicking to Darkseid.

My EVIL memory is failing me... I thought this EVIL situation was over and we could go on with a (not-)EVIL story
I really don't understand why they translated Demonic to Evil, it makes shit sound so stupid.

It's more like reading a Batman comic and the Justice League just shows up and takes over.

Maybe this fight would look good animated, but in manga form, it's just panels of people shouting attack names and the audience being told that they're strong. It's really not engaging.

I think a fight can be engaging if it's about strategy, and seeing people unexpectedly out-think their opponent. To see some foreshadowed planning come together. But just "I'm strong!"? It's meaningless, especially in fantasy where power is arbitrary. That logic works for games but not for narratives.

At least there is emotional weight behind what Fran is doing at the end of the chapter, but all the "action" filling the majority of the chapter is a waste that tells us nothing new.

That's why I really want this to get back to Fran adventuring about, making friends, and learning to do new things. I really feel like isekai stories go off the rails as soon as they become about fighting a big bad. They're exciting at first because the main character is exploring all kinds of new abilities and the reader thinks of all the potential, but then it's just "oh no their numbers are bigger than my numbers" and it becomes a slog.
