Shes HIGHLY implied to be the mangaka of the manga Ameri reads(her father clearly gets copies somehow to let her read her mothers work). Iruma also worked as an assistant on it.

Henri mentions to Iruma when they first met he knew a human once and helped the human escape to the human world. Its why he was willing to help Iruma. So shes clearly that human and is very much alive.

Iruma and Merize look similar. Thats it. Nothing at all implies they are related. Its just meant to show Henri and Ameri have similar tastes.

Iruma's mother looks nothing like Merize and as far as we know Iruma had no other relatives.

Here's an idea: she's the author of "First Love Memories". We never saw any of the author (they were talking from behind a closed door in Iruma's flashback) and it would explain why Henry has all the volumes of the series despite it being from the human world.
