I fully understand what he went through in his life up to this point, and that is exactly why I find this hollow. He went through everything he did because he was not able to level up through standard means, and didn't know how to level up. Now that he knows how, he could sleep around in brothels for the rest of his life and become the single strongest person in the world without ever having to risk his life or even expend much effort - that's why I'm saying this "don't be lazy" speech rings hollow.

Telling someone that they should work hard to gain levels means very little if you didn't get your levels from working hard. Working hard explicitly got him nothing but pain and suffering with no reward.

It still holds water. Because he's been a nobody all his life and never gave up, he fully knows his proverbial limits and the inherent risk of adventuring, something many other adventurers shrug off, even high level ones. And He has worked hard all his adventuring career, before and after knowing how to upgrade his level.
That he has this blessing granting him not as fast-track to leveling but as the levels he's been due all these years, doesn't mean that anyone else can look down on what he's been through and if anyone has any issue with finally having his efforts recognised, either the ones he's been through for years AND those done on high-level zones recently like the dungeon he's returning to, they can go fuck themselves and put some fucking effort if they want the rank so bad.
Also, Zarmen didn't tell to "try harder", he told "get your ass off the booze and work it out", implying that one adventurer is all bark and no bite in the end.

Correction, my friend. Adolf could never get fat period, he was a vegetarian. It was certainly weird seeing the guy with the look and named Himmler to boot, but that was how it turned out.

Fun fact: Charlie Chaplin sported that mustache long before Adolf ever did.

Think the rude fella has a point. Zarmen has always worked hard despite never gaining a level. And even in the brief period of time that he has been leveling off prostitutes, he is still going out on missions as an adventurer. I mean it's been what, a little over a month since he got his V card punched and he spent over a week of that in a dungeon. And even after getting back from said dungeon, he has been boosting levels and preparing for his next delve.

So it doesn't really feel all that hypocritical to me that Zarmen tells Bozo the Bully to get off his ass and go level if he is so bent out of shape about loosing his punching bag. Because even of he can just level by impregnating another woman, he still has to find a partner and put in the work to plow her fertile fields of flesh.
