Does anyone know if the 300m radius is the proper distance? The empty area around the dungeon entrance looks way way bigger than 300m. Based on the art, easily looks more like at least 1 km radius.

I was wondering this myself - however, I assume if there is "no known way to cause a dungeon collapse" -and- this item nullifier is commonly available (if expensive) it has been at least tried once before, and didn't work.

They said the nullifier was a unique item, so it's probably very rare. Given the timing, it's quite possible it's meant to be connected.
Either that, or the large crowd drew the attention of monsters that can cause the collapse.
